Help for Haiti
 
The pictures and stories coming out of Haiti are heartbreaking.  I am blessed to have friends from our Caribbean neighbor, many of whom still have family there.  Right now, they need our prayers--and they need our support.
 
There are many ways you can help. Right now, from what I understand, the #1 issue is money.  This will allow the relief agencies to get in, provide immediate assistance and assess the full scope of the damage.
 
Here are some agencies that you can help.
 
1.  Help the Red Cross.  You can text HAITI to 90999 to donate $10 immediately, or go to redcross.org to make a larger donation. 

2.  Food for the Poor is a South Florida based agency that provides assistance in Latin America and the Caribbean.

3.  Donate to Mercy Corps, who is helping lead the recovery efforts in Haiti.
