Dan Gelber’s attorney general campaign has pulled together a group of prominent Orlando attorneys to host a $500-a-person fundraiser tonight, from 5:30 to 7, in the lobby of the M&I Bank in Winter park.

Included on the host committee are Bruce Blackwell, a partner in the law firm that includes City Attorney Mayanne Downs; Cecelia Bonifay, a land-use lawyer who’s also the wife of U.S. Distrct Court Judge Greg Presnell; Richard Dellinger, a litigator at the Lowndes firm;  Sam King, a plaintiff’s lawyer  in College Park;  Warren Lindsey, a prominent Winter Park criminal defense lawyer; and attorney Fritz Scheller, a former clerk for Presnell.

Gelber, a state senator from Miami Beach, is running for the Democratic nomination in theAG’s race against Sen. Dave Aronberg from Greenacres.
